& Approach
My vision for a successful wedding day is one without compromise.
Unlimited hours of coverage on the wedding day. My day should be scheduled according to your itinerary, not the other way around. Our timeline will be intentional and paced with your comfort and experience in mind.
A true hybrid photographic style– every couple and every wedding day is unique. I don’t believe in limiting your memories into one trending aesthethic. Every moment has its own character; I believe in capturing each, in a way that speaks to its individuality.
Emotional intelligence is, perhaps, the most overlooked trait when considering your artist. It takes a unique awareness to know when to disappear into the background or when to rally the room. As an empathetic person, connection comes intuitively, and my priority is your experience of the day; this is key to great candid images.
Every single picture was beautiful, intimate and so full of love.
“…someone who could capture those special, candid moments and also give us a stunning set of portraits. He made us feel so comfortable and seemed genuinely excited to be shooting our wedding day. On the big day, Steve was a calming presence. He let us do everything the way we wanted, but also knew exactly when to step in and provide direction. When we received our photos, we were speechless and just couldn’t stop smiling.”

From the start of the day, until the party is over. As long as I’m needed!

I do- and I have a personal theory about the real value of shooting film.
Ask me about it :) -
I was 20 years old, studying philosophy, searching for something. I wandered into a photo studio for summer work and immediately fell in love. Photography gave me a sense of purpose, and I’ve never taken that for granted.

I’ve shot a little bit of everything, but weddings fulfill me in a way that I don’t feel compelled to shoot “personal work.” That being said, it’s not uncommon for me to be moved by a moment and feel prompted to take my phone out to grab a photo (and then spend way too much time trying to edit it).

There’s only one videographer I love, and trust, enough to offer under my brand. If they’re available, I’m happy to offer it. Ask!
-
If they’re digital images, the gallery will be mostly color, with a lot of black & white’s mixed in, where the moments call for it. If you want a particular image in one style vs the other- feel free to ask, although I often include both. For film, it’ll depend on what I’m feeling for the moment.

I’d love that! Often, I get to meet couples on our engagement session or during a venue walkthrough. I’m even happy to meet in-person, if a Zoom consultation isn’t your thing.
The better we get to know each other, the more fun the process, IMO. -
It all starts with sending an inquiry on our contact page. If I’m available for your date, we’ll set up a Zoom or in-person meeting to make sure it’s a great fit.
From there, a retainer and signed photo agreement will reserve your date, and we begin your story!
